This was the wintery scene that greeted us on the way to the store a couple of weeks ago. The crisp air, misty trees, the stillness and crunch of the frost under our feet was eerily beautiful. Winter in the Derwent Valley, Tasmania can be really beautiful, especially when the fog lifts to reveal the glorious winter sun in the afternoon.
