We are so excited to share that Flywheel features in Country Style this month, one of our absolute favourite magazines! This is an extra special issue to our hearts as well as it is the Tasmanian issue, with loads of wonderful articles showcasing what is so unique about our island state.
A definite must issue if you are planning on a holiday to our island or for Tasmanians to discover lots of interesting places to see in our own home state. Oh and also, our sister store The Drill Hall Emporium may pop up a few times in this issue!
We have a love affair with all things paper here at Flywheel and are lucky to meet so many clever, creative people. So this is why we are so excited to share that the paper artist Miso, is coming to town. This amazing artist will be be conducting a paper art class with the fabulous Megan Morton's The School at our sister store The Drill Hall Emporium later this month!! The class is to create your own paper garland, how gorgeous...
Be sure to check out all details here on The Drill Hall Emporium blog or go straight to the source at the School website. Until next time, the flywheel team
We really can't believe how fast time has flown since we opened the doors of Flywheel and it is even harder to believe that it has been one year now. It proves the saying that time flies when you are having fun. We really have loved opening Flywheel and have all our wonderful customers to thank for all their support and well wishes, we couldn't have done it without you.
So from all of us at Flywheel, we thank you and wish you all a fabulous Christmas and New Year.
We will be closed from tomorrow the 24th December and re-opening on Friday the 27th December.
We are so lucky to be situated so near the wonderful Agrarian Kitchen at Lachlan here in the Derwent Valley, the farm-based cooking school. Even more exciting has been the launch of their fabulous cookbook, already receiving well deserved accolades (winner of the Kinokuniya Cookbook of the Year Award no less!, a feature in Gourmet Traveller etc etc). At Flywheel we were very privileged to print the invitations to celebrate the launch of this cookbook...
The much anticipated cookbooks all signed and ready to be much treasured..
A wonderful Christmas gift for any cooks you may know, unfortunately everyone in our family already has a copy! Well done on a truly beautiful cookbook to The Agrarian Kitchen. Until next time, the flywheel team
